HHFN is the most trusted, safest, and most affordable volunteer programs provider in Nepal. We emphasise on grass-roots projects and highly committed to bring positive change in the life of disadvantaged communities. This is indeed reflected in our previous works. Here are the main reasons why you should keep HHFN in your radar to visit and volunteer in Nepal.

All of the organisation’s members, except the international coordinator, have lived in the Nepali Community their entire lives, giving them a unique perspective on the struggles of their less fortunate neighbours. This is strikingly different from the vast majority of other organisations in Nepal in which the members have not even visited the areas where they send volunteers. HHFN consults with local experts from the academic, government, and private sectors that assist the organisation in developing andimplementing HHFN’s various programs. Again, most other organisations in Nepal do not do this.

HHFN guides the volunteer through the entire experience in Nepal, from meeting at the airport to transportation and throughout the entire program. Volunteers are never “thrown to the wolves” and left to fend for themselves in unbearable situations. While working with HHFN, the volunteer will feel as if working in their own country. HHFN is a non-profit organisation and its only aim to help the disadvantaged communities in Nepal. We never work for profit; thus our fees are extremely affordable. The fees we charge are just for your accommodation and food management, host family and project donation.

Flexible Programs

Free Orientation Program

A free orientation program is given to all volunteers to give them basic pictures of Nepali culture and village life.
