Since inception, HHF Nepal has been running outstanding community based volunteer programs in Nepal by carrying out many volunteer programs that benefit poor children and backward communities.

HHFN is the most trusted, committed, safest and most affordable volunteer organization in Nepal. HHFN offers numerous exciting Nepal experiences to international volunteers in the areas of education, healthcare, community development, conservation, agriculture and so on. Besides, we also offer amazing charity treks and tours in some of the most beautiful places in Nepal.

Since our inception in 1999, more than 5,000 travellers/volunteers have participated in our truly meaningful Nepal charity treks, adventure travels, and other customized group volunteer programs.

Our organisation has been growing significantly each year, which is indeed a true reflection of our staffs’ dedication and our grass-roots programs incredible outcomes in society. Our philosophy involves more than simply placing a volunteer in a grassroots project. We offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of our clients: individualized placements, travel and adventure, cross-cultural learning experiences, in-country travel arrangements, free-time exploration, and other services as per the special needs of our participants HHFN regularly conducts programs in the areas of education, health, agriculture, environment and women empowerment. So, our missions are coordinating voluntary relief activities in disaster affected areas, assisting in development and construction programs, organising various activities in order to minimise environmental imbalances and strengthening world peace and international friendship through voluntary services.

HHFN places international volunteers in residential service projects in Nepal. With a small fee, volunteers participate in service projects and live with a host Nepalese family during their stay in Nepal, gaining a more genuine understanding and appreciation for the culture and the people they are helping. HHFN’s funding comes from two sources: the monthly membership fee from the organisation’s members and the international volunteer fees. Every year more than 500 international volunteers join Helping Hand Foundation Nepal’s volunteer programs and return home with everlasting memories for life. The money is used exclusively to fund the organisation’s programs and to pay for the volunteer’s food and accommodation. And we use the remaining money to fund our goals is to build an orphanage home and water reservoir tank. The members of HHFN are strict volunteers and do not receive any payment for their efforts. Every year, the Nepalese government send a government officer to examine the work done by HHFN, their financial situation, and their future plans.
