Volunteer in Lumbini Nepal
Helping Hands Foundation Nepal, a non-profit organization dedicated to philanthropic work to provide services by joining hands together for the upliftment of the community and regions of Nepal, welcomes you to another famous destination, the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha in Lumbini, Kapilavastu Nepal. Lumbini is a holy pilgrimage site for the Buddhist people of Nepal. It marks the birth of Lord Gautama Buddha in 563 B.C. The site has older temples, the Mayadevi pond and temple, the Asoka pillar, monuments, monasteries and museums. Water canals separate the western and eastern zone of the holy site of Lumbini. The sacred Bodhi tree under which Siddhartha gained wisdom and enlightenment after meditation and became Lord Buddha. Lumbini was listed among the UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1997.

World Peace pagoda in the Northeastern part of the Lumbini holy site is the epitome of the unity of humanity in the desire for peace. Nepal is called a land of vacation and enlightenment due to the birth of Lord Gautama Buddha, and the pagoda here is a holy site referring to the spread of peace and solidarity equally among human beings.
Golden temple of Myanmar
Myanmar Golden temple in Lumbini is the oldest structure with Burmese architecture encrusted by cone-shaped shikaras from the outside, and inside it are prayer halls and Lokamani Pula Pagoda.
Monasteries
Being a religious and holy pilgrimage site for Buddhist monks, there are different monasteries in Lumbini, such as the Royal Thai Monastery, Bodhi institute monastery and dharma centre, The Thrangu monastery, the mother temple of the graduated path to enlightenment, and Lumbini Monastic site for Buddhist pilgrims in Lumbini.
Mayadevi temple and Asoka pillar
This is an important and holy site which symbolizes the birth of Lord Gautama Buddha in Nepal from King Suddhodhana and Queen Maya Devi. There is a temple, a pond, and a pillar erected by King Asoka on a visit to Nepal with sacred carved inscriptions.
Lumbini Crane sanctuary
Lumbini Crane sanctuary was built to commemorate a period in the life of Lord Gautama Buddha when he fought with a person who tried to kill a bird and saved the bird from being hunted down with his bravery and wisdom.

They can assign work activities with monastery teaching, construction and renovation program, research program, photojournalism, College/University group program, family volunteering for purposes like teaching English in schools programs, orphanage volunteer, cultural exchange, environment conservation, restoration works while they are in the holy place of Nepal. Volunteers can choose from packaged programs such as child sponsorship program educational support for the child at USD 875 per year, full scholarship up to USD 1257 per child for study, accommodations and food expenses, partial scholarship of any amount with the charity to schooling and medication of orphanage children.
