Free Time and Weekend Exploration

Mainly our Nepal volunteer programs are located in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara. So you can expect to volunteer in Kathmandu, Chitwan or in Pokhara. You will work 5 hours a day from during weekdays while volunteering in Nepal projects. You will have plenty of free time in the morning and evening for sightseeing and exploring the nearby places of natural and cultural importance.

Kathmandu 

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and one of the most popular destination for foreign travelers. Kathmandu is visited by thousands of visitors each year. There are many tourist hotspots, antique shrines, landmarks and intoxicating places like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Dreams Garden, Thamel, Krishma Mandir, Basantapur, Swayampbu, Pasupati Nath Temple and much more.

Chitwan

Chitwan is another great place for volunteering in Nepal. Chitwan is famous for its stunning national parks full of amazing wildlife and vegetation. You can also learn about Tharu culture and traditions in while volunteering in Chitwan.

Pokhara

Pokhara is a nature’s paradise. Here you will be greeted by spectacular sceneries, charming mountainous backdrops, and adventure unleashed and mouthwatering cuisines for food lovers.

Weekend Exploration

When taking part in volunteer opportunities in India, you can expect to work for 5 days in a week from Sunday to Friday. You get 2 days off in a week which you can spend by visiting various places of natural, historical and cultural glories. There are plenty of tourist attractions in Nepal for you to explore. This country is a sumptuous blend of traditions, spiritual beliefs, festivals, architecture, landmarks and landscapes.
